The signals tab is where you get your nightly trade suggestions.
If you log on today for the signals for tomorrow you’ll have to click Newer to get to an Effective Date for tomorrow. However, if you log on today for the current day’s trades, the effective date will match today’s date.
Search by Date gives you the ability to go back and look at any signal QiT posted since November 4, 2013

# Calculate shares is the amount of money each individual member will be using for each portfolio and is used to calculate the number of shares to trade per position. For example, if you’re using $25,000 for both the margin the number of shares is determined: $25,000*14% divided by the limit price.
Effective Date is the date the trades are to be placed. For example, if we posted trades the night of Thursday, August 22nd for Friday’s August 23rd trading the effective date is August 23, 2013.
Ticker is the ticker symbol for the trade
Company Name is the company name of the stock.
Action is the suggested action you will take on each ticker. The options will be:
- BUY – Buy this position at the limit price
- HOLD – Hold this position
- SHORT – Short this position at the limit price
- Sell At Limit – Sell this position at the limit price specified
- Cover At Limit – Cover this position at the limit price specified
- Sell at Next Open – Sell this long position at market the next open
- Cover at Next Open – Cover this short position at market the next open
Limit Price is the price you will try to enter or exit the position.
% of Portfolio is the percentage of total portfolio valve QiT allocates for each position.
The Effective Date, Ticker, Company Name, Action Limit Price, % of Portfolio and Number of Shares can be sorted ascending or descending, grouped or eliminated altogether.
If you end up with a sort and you want to go back to the original, just click the Reload beside the calendar.
